If that's the case, it might be worth asking. If you aren't sure if they'd be comfortable with it, you should ask: "It sounds like there's a lot going through your mind right now. Is it something you'd be comfortable talking about?" That way, they know you're willing to listen, but you aren't pressuring them, either.

I do have one question. Is it very difficult applying to the university?

Recollé University? No, not at all. Most applications will ask for identifying information, and then ask you to write some form of admissions essay to tell them about who you are and what your passions are. You can (and should) also attach letters of recommendation from teachers or extracurricular coaches or personal references to reinforce your qualifications.

I have letters from some of my instructors and from my dance school. So I should be okay there.

I want to attend RU next year.

It's an introductory essay. They want to know who you are! So if I were writing one, I might tell them that I'm Katherine Lutece and explain how watching my father practice law for as long as I've been alive has made me want to pursue a career in the field myself. I could tell them how I've been studying on my own time to fully understand the cases he works, or how I was brought on board to do clerical work when I was sixteen because he realized he couldn't keep me away from the office. It's a story about myself that tells the people reading the application what kind of person I am, and what they can expect if they accept me to the school.

If you'd like, I could help you write one. I'm sure you'd be accepted to RU easily!
